21/03/2026 - Oliver's Battery Road North witness appeal - Theft of Pedal Cycle

Good afternoon Winchester South and Central residents;

I am appealing for witnesses following the theft of a bicycle from a vehicle on Oliver's Battery Road North, Winchester on the evening of Monday 21 September 2026.

At approximately 8.30pm, an electric mountain bike was stolen from a rack attached to a parked vehicle on a private driveway. The offender is believed to have removed the bike before making off towards the Stanmore Lane area.

The stolen bike is described as a blue Kinesis Ride Pro electric hardtail mountain bike. The bike did not have its battery fitted at the time it was stolen.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was travelling along or near Oliver's Battery Road North at the time and may have seen a person pushing or carrying a blue electric mountain bike, or anyone who witnessed suspicious activity around a parked vehicle.

Anyone with information, CCTV, doorbell footage or dashcam recordings from Oliver's Battery Road North, Stanmore Lane, or the surrounding area between 8pm and 9pm on 21 September 2026 is asked to contact Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary quoting occurrence number 44260463032.
